If you would like to learn more and request access, <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.affiliated.com\/learn-more-about-activity-comments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Adding an Activity Comment<\/h2>\n<p>To add an Activity Comment, navigate to one of your accounts. On the sidebar of any account page, you should see an Add Comments button.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/Guides\/ActivityComments\/activitycomments01a.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Click the button to open the Add Comments window.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/Guides\/ActivityComments\/activitycomments02.png\"><\/p>\n<p>When the window opens, you can type your comment, up to 255 characters, including special characters.<\/p>\n<div class=\"note\">Note: Forward slash (&#8216;\/&#8217;) is not permitted in Activity Comments.<\/div>\n<h2>Viewing Activity Comments<\/h2>\n<p>The easiest way to view Activity Comments on an account is to click the See All Comments link underneath the Add Comments button.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/Guides\/ActivityComments\/activitycomments01b.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Clicking this link will navigate you automatically to the Event History page with a filter to just view the comments.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/Guides\/ActivityComments\/activitycomments03.png\"><\/p>\n<p>If you navigate to Event History yourself and Search with your chosen Time Period, the Portal will automatically include Activity Comments in the results, allowing you to see how they correlate to monitoring events.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/Guides\/ActivityComments\/activitycomments05.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Activity Comments toggle will allow you to change how they are displayed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/Guides\/ActivityComments\/activitycomments04.png\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hide<\/strong><br \/>\nThis option will hide Activity Comments from the Event History results<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show<\/strong><br \/>\nThis is the default option. It will include Activity Comments in the results.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show Only<\/strong><br \/>\nThis will only show Activity Comments. Note that this will also deselect all Service Types and check Hide Operator Actions.
